Murad Akhter, CEO & Co-founder

Murad Akhter has over seven years of experience in product management and software development in Silicon Valley’s high-tech industry. Prior to Tintash, he worked at Apple Computer on flagship products such as the company’s first line of 64-bit systems as well as its transition from PowerPC chips to Intel’s multi-core processors. He later worked on jukebox and VOIP applications for the Ultra-Mobile PC platform at Microsoft before starting Tintash in 2007. Murad graduated from Stanford University with an MS and BS in Computer Science.

Mannan Amin, Co-founder

Mannan Amin has a Masters in Management Science with a specialization in Innovations, Viral Marketing, and Entrepreneurship from Stanford. He feels very proud and fortunate to be amongst the very few who have been part of key courses at the newly founded d.school, school of cross disciplinary innovation, at Stanford. As part of these courses Mannan got a chance to do projects for the top management at Facebook, Firefox, GlobalGiving, JetBlue and Fidelity Investments. Earlier Mannan was at LUMS where he did his BSc CS and a year of LUMS MBA. Mannan is incredibly passionate about cultivating an environment for entrepreneurship in Pakistan. He remains ever the optimist!

Mohammed Abdoolcarim, Co-founder

Mohammed received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Since then he started BookBox, a company that creates online books to help children learn new languages. He also started a career at Google where he was Product Marketing Manager for Google Desktop and AdSense and launched Google's beta testing program. He now advises and works with mobile design teams that build products for the iPhone.

Noni Azhar, Co-founder

Noni Azhar is an Oracle CRM On Demand Certified Principal Consultant at Oracle. He has 10 years experience as a Consultant, Software Developer, Team Lead, and Project Manager across various industries such as CRM, Medical/Health, Professional Services, Online collaborative systems and Data Management. He has an MS in Computer Engineering (Management Information Systems) from Santa Clara University.

Ahmad Iftikhar

Ahmad is a 3D Visual Artist and student at University of South Asia. He has modeled everything from robots to egyptian relics.

Assam Altaf

Assam is a Concept Artist and student at University of South Asia. He loves to sketch animals of all kinds and is very passionate about kites!

Fatima Hussain

Fatima has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from UET where her final project was on a webcam-driven sign-language interpreter. Fatima loves to build robots in her spare time and has represented UET in several competitions.

Muhammad Ishaq

Ishaq is a veritable cornucopia of ideas on agile methodologies, test driven development and bottom-up innovation. Apart from evangelizing such initiatives at Tintash, he also enjoys building and playing games. Ishaq is just as at home at Counter Strike as he is at Labyrinth.

Uzair Arshad

Uzair has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from FAST-NU, Lahore. His final year project was on human motion capturing via cameras using template matching and background subtraction. He was one of Tintash's first few employees. Prior to Tintash he worked for Gambit Tech and also founded Emblem Technologies.

Madiha Bhutta

Madiha is a Concept Artist par excellence. Apart from making cute caricatures, candies, kites and backgrounds, she also enjoys getting her hands dirty by making pottery for labs she teaches at the Lahore College for Women. Madiha has an MFA and BFA from LCWU.

Usman Mahmood

Usman is a Quality Assurance Engineer. Prior to Tintash, he worked as a web developer at an internet marketing company in the UK as well as Cybergate (sister concern of Nextbridge), The University of Lahore and PC Home Computers. Usman has an MS in Network Systems form the UK.

Safia Bibi

Safia is Tintash’s veritable, gourmet chef. Apart from making delectable South Asian delights such as Chicken Biryani, Chicken Karahi and Mutton Korma, Safia has also introduced die-hard meat-lovers at the company to healthier vegetarian dishes.

Steven Javed

As a Corporate Executive Assistant, Steven is a master of all trades. From designing and ordering business cards and company letterheads to organizing on-campus recruitment events, Steven puts his nose wherever it is required. Steven is also an aspiring artist and is training to be a 2D Illustrator and Animator.

Syed Zeeshan

Zeeshan is a Graphic Artist and student of Architecture at NCA Lahore. Apart from taking classes and working on his thesis he has fun designing mockups, banners, icons and logos.

Muhammad Waris

Waris has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from UET. Waris built an ERP system for a bookstore for his final project that allowed users to pay for books using Scratch Cards. Apart from trying to outwit and outmaneuver Amazon, Waris also enjoys working on web-based and mobile games. He is well versed in all major flavors of Flash and ActionScript.
